fans Real Housewives of the Potomac They are looking forward to a breakup between Ashley Darby and her husband Michael. Monique Samuels provides updates on what Ashley Darby has been doing since Darby filed for divorce
Although Samuels is no longer on the show, she is still friends with Darby. They both talk every week and sometimes hang out. By promoting his new reality series OWN Love and Marriage: DC, Samuels has provided updated information on Darby’s condition since news of her split became public.
“It works really well. The reason Ashley and I get along so well is that we focus on what we want to achieve. We don’t just sit and frown,” Samuels told Page Six. At work, that’s what he does.

According to Samuels, there was a lot of “tension” in Darby’s marriage when she decided to officially separate. However, she says her friend remains optimistic. “Ashley is the most positive person I know. And I know one thing about her and Michael, they work really well together. So if they make the decision to break up, it’s because they know in the future that everything will be okay – whether it’s okay together or they are engaged in parenting.”
First of all, Samuels says it acts as a support system for Darby. “I just encourage her and say, ‘I know you’re making the best decision you have to make for yourself and your children. And I’m here for you. Chris and I are here for you. Samuels insists she knows it.
Ashley Darby vows to break up next season
Darby says viewers will see what happens during the show’s seventh season. But he promises it won’t be a bad breakup.
“Okay, I’m fine. My kids are very young my son is 2 years old and my second son is 1 year old so they don’t really have awareness. We still live together, we’re still under the same roof, so it makes no difference,” FOX 5 and I said.
As Samuels suggested, everything that prompted Darby to break up was something that happened recently. “It’s quite new. My marriage has gone through a lot,” she explained. “I was open about that on the show. We had infidelity issues that we overcame. It’s nothing. I give more information about how and why we got here (on the show) and not for reasons that many people think.”
Fraud rumors of Darby’s marriage from the beginning
Darby’s marital problems have been the main plot since the show began airing in 2016. Michael is 29 years older than his wife, and they’ve sometimes admitted to inviting third parties to get married. But when a mother of two learned her husband was a stray just months after they adopted their first child together, she warned that if it happened again and he wasn’t monogamous, they would end their marriage.
Fraud rumors persisted. A source told People Magazine that the lack of trust led to the split. They had serious problems for about a year. There was an instinctive disharmony between them as a couple. For Ashley, inconsistencies in relationships and trust issues led to a rift.
