For the fourth birthday, the Polish Vodka Museum has prepared a series of birthday surprises: a real Sarmatian will meet guests at the nobles’ table, special events, promotions and gifts will be held in museum stores. However, the most important one will be a unique birthday tour”In the footsteps of four Polish vodkas “. Polish vodka, PGI, is made on the basis of traditional Polish grains (rye, wheat, oats, barley and triticale) or potatoes, and must be produced in Poland. From June 9-12, 2022, museum staff will invite guests to celebrate together.
An architectural pearl among museums – on a global scale
The Polish Vodka Museum has created a unique space on the cultural map of Warsaw since June 12, 2018. The facility is located in the renovated historic building of the Correction Department of the Centrum Praskie Koneser complex. In the nineties of the twentieth century on an area of 50 thousand. square metres, between the streets Ząbkowska, Nieporęcka, Białostocka and Markowska, was a complex of neo-gothic buildings that made up the “Koneser” vodka factory in Warsaw. Here the main brands of Polish vodka were filled: Luksusowa and Wyborowa. Centrum Praskie Koneser is a unique place on the map of the Praga district of Warsaw and the first to offer such a wide and unique range of services and entertainment. Undoubtedly, the Polish Museum of Vodka is what distinguishes Koneser Square and at the same time perfectly emphasizes the history of the entire place.
The Polish Vodka Museum is an interactive, fun and accessible way to learn about the history of the drink, its production process, a large exhibition, since it consists of several hundred exhibits, and the exhibition. For most guests, a visit to the museum concerns not only the wonderful route of Polish vodka from the country of the Vistula to the world market, but also often revolutionary knowledge.
One building, many possibilities – so many attractions for Christmas
The Polish Vodka Museum is not a typical museum. Therefore, the Christmas offer is also unique.
Even an ordinary visit is full of surprises: a show in a copper cinema, animated models of huge distilleries, an authentic copper distillation column. Adding a very interesting story through the guide and the opportunity to taste selected Polish vodka, we get a unique 1.5 hour feast for the senses. What is the Christmas bonus? Museum guides have prepared a thematic tour “In the footsteps of four Polish vodkas”. The stories of four selected drinks will explain the history of distillation, justify the importance of the origin of the raw materials, recall the traditions of the old Polish feast, and tell about the times of the Industrial Revolution. For connoisseurs looking for sightseeing in the extended version, there’s also a story that shows the modern face of Polish Super Premium Vodka.
This unique tour will only be available on days June 9-12, 2022.
but that is not all – During Sunday tours of the museum’s galleries, guests will meet Sarmatian in a unique role. This is not the end of the attractions. There are also plans for a free Saturday concert of Italian music in the Kotłownia event space adjacent to the museum (the meeting organizers are the local tourism organization “Partnership of the Sandomierz Region” and Koneser Praga Center) or a free Sunday walk with Museum guide Marta Warchoł along Koneser Square and the streets Surrounding in Praga.
